who to be,
it may seem
not fair to see
what’s meant to be
is haunting me

that slide with ease
rise true to me
who i be
make believe
write waves to see
ride ways to be
for the best
no regrets, i address
the mess i stress
with the devil placing bets
and a lord with faith
when i had nothing left

then he gave me
moments like these

that slide with ease
rise true to me
who i see
make it dream
of a humanity
like harmony
for a part of me
all of me
a song to me

critical
so mystical
can’t resist
an inch of this
insistent
and persistent
emotion
a system
devoted
to controlling
by the notions
each moment
kill the vocals
all this commotion
till we stand still
in motion
all alone
my heart
been stolen
wide open
a sleeve
floating
in an ocean
it’s just me
after being molded
for the girl i
devoted
my dreams to see
everything
in this reality
a fantasy
which came to me
came to be
like everything
dreams intended them to be
and now what i seek
seems to be
right here
in front of me
incentive
perceptive
inception
like these dreams
green and music
tunes and verbal usage
voices and keys click
switch on
juices drip
flick the kick
until the dream
is lit.
